I was just coming on to recommend the Tripp Trapp but see you've already decided! Good choice!
The seats aren't slippy with the cushions and baby set - leo has been more than happy in it since 6 months, and it's great having him right up at the table with us!

Just thought I would finish by posting some pics of Katie in the Tripp Trapp which arrived two days ago - she LOVES it!

Thanks for everyone's advice

Funny thing, we are using the Fisher Price travel chair in our kitchen.  We have 4 seats around an island, and it straps in perfectly to the bar stool. She either sits with a tray, or pushed in to the table.  It was cheap, cheap , cheap and doesn't take up any room.  She's been using it for 3 months now and I don't think that she will outgrow it any time soon.  She seems to love it so far!

I realised yesterday just how much I love my Tripp Trapp!
We went out for lunch for father's day, and Leo was sat in a high chair with a tray. It was a real pain having to keep leaning over to help him with his finger food, and feed him his yoghurt - I had to rearrange the table settings to move my chair closer to him!
Every restaurant should have Tripp Trapps!!!

We recently ordered a Tripp Trapp for our 5 month old and were so impressed with it that we ordered another one for our elder son who's 4.  It's solved the problems we were having of him kneeling up on an adult chair (he got too big for his high chair a long time ago and has also outgrown his booster seat).  He's now siting about 4 inches higher to the table than he was on the adult chair, can climb up and down safely, is comfortable, sits still for his meals and best of all, he loves it!!
