My 5 week DD has been swaddled from 1 week.  Now she keeps getting her hands/arms out and this wakes her up as she starts looking for them to suck them - its worse at nap times and bed time.

I check that she's fed enough, and she doesn't really have a dummy unles she's overtired - any advice on how to keep them in please?

Also when I put her down for her nap do I swaddle her and then do wind down, or the other way round?

At bed time, do I swaddle after her bottle - bed time routine is - bath, dress bottle, cuddle, bed?

Thanks

My best advice is invest in a Miracle Blanket. My DH was a total Houdini baby - he could escape from any swaddle I tried (including the Aussie swaddle) but he only managed to get out of the miracle blanket once (when DH wrapped him  ::)). They're a little expensive for what they are (£15.00) but worth for a decent nights sleep!

There's a link to one in case you don't know what I mean:
