tweaking gone wrong?
« on: July 20, 2007, 07:58:51 am »
Morning ladies :)

Hope you're all well today. :)  Over the past couple of days I've tried tweaking my easy routine by shortening my dd sleep times as I was having trouble settling her for her naps later on in the day I shortened them from 2hrs to 1.5hrs, as I read she may be too rested to take her later naps.  It has helped them a little bit but she is now waking 2/3 times a night!  :(should I just go back to the old way where I struggle in the day but maybe only get 1 n/w.....any ideas welcome xx rachel :) she is on a AEASY routine as she's not that hungry on a 3hr but her 'a' time is still a 3hr.

hi Rachel.

I'd go back to her previous routine as I believe night sleep is worth some extra work during the day.
and at her age 3hrs easy in terms of activity time is just right :)

I'd let her nap for 2hrs.
so then she'd have 1,5hrs of activity, 2hrs nap and next feed would be around 3,5hrs after the previous one so almost perfect ;)

Hey Monika :)

today was going so well - the first 2 naps were 2hrs first 'a' time just over an hour but the second 1.75 so not bad  :)but it all went wrong for the 3rd one after 30 mins she woke up screaming her head off.  She is suffering from really really bad wind :( - this is the 2nd day, I'm giving her infacol but it's not working that well, I don't know what to do.  I tried for almost an hour to put her back to bed, then I fed and bathed her, so no catnap.  I don't know why all of a sudden she's suffering so badly - I've just started giving her d/f as an ebm could this be why? I'm easing of the fenugreek cos' I thought it may be that too.......just when you think it's all gonna work....rachelx :(
