Hi Shannon,
I was wondering how you were getting on and thought I'd let you know some of the things I've been trying. Now my let down is no way as strong as yours (definately cannot hit any wall). Yesterday morning I tried feeding DD lying down which resulted in a very wet bet (from the spit up). I have also tried lots of upright time after a feed which sometimes works, other times just means she has a good aim for the spit up.
Having thought about how she doesn't spit up as much when given a bottle, this morning I stopped her feeding really frequently, I took her off the breast every 40-60 seconds twice and then left her on for a couple of mins at a time. When I took her off, I sat her up right and gave her a rest and rubbed her back in case of any wind. It resulted in her absolutely screaming when she was taken off in the begining but we had greatly reduced spit up, one mouthful and one tiny amount which is a vast improvement for us.
Its very messy and you need to either cover yourself with a musi or put your breast pad back in. Also I don't know if it just happened to be a better feed than usual or if it really worked so I'll be trying it again later!! Don't think I'll be doing it when NIP though.
Molly
