I'm looking at your thread for reassurance, Mari. DS is in his big bed for the first time today and I'm waiting for him to settle. We had a couple of nights of the new duvet overhanging half-way over the side of the cot and the other half in the cot. That went down well and he was also very positive today when we showed him his new bed, which is encouraging. Please send success vibes our way.  DS has always been a poor sleeper and I'm not looking forward to new sleep hurdles

Well, her final hoorah is still going, I cannot get her back into her bed.  But tonight I have had a breakthrough, she actually told me why she doesn't want to sleep in her bed.  She thinks that Mr Tumble will get her!

For those of you who don't know, Mr Tumble is Justin Fletcher, a children's television presenter who has a show called Something Special in which he dresses as a clown.  Alex is terrified of him and cannot watch Cbeebies because of this.  Every kid loves Justin except Alex  ::)

Aww, how horrible to be scared.  Is there any way to transfer what makes her feel safe in her crib to the big bed??  Just an idea...
