I'm using good start with comfort proteins. Poo is rather dark green and been a little on the watery side, like not much substance to it. It was yellow at one time and sometimes still has yellow in it. That could be normal. She cried real hard early when she took a poop and I think it got in the way of her 8:15am feeding. I had a terrible eppisode earlier today. She didn't seem happy drinking and instead of sticking to between 2 and 3 oz - she's going down to drinking only 1.5 oz. Here is starting at mid-night last night.

12:20am - about 2oz
3am - 2 oz
5:45am - 1.5oz
8:15am - 1.5 oz
9:55am - about 1.5oz
11:45am - about 1oz
2:45am - 1.5oz

Between 8:15am and 11am, she was VERY fussy. She was upset while eating and after eating and it was hard to calm her down. She would calm down with holding her or she'd eventually drift off the sleep for 5/10 minutes here and there only to wake up acting fussy. Paci worked, but than it didnt' for I think she was hungry from not being able to eat or eating so little. I think she should be more like 2-3 oz every 3-4 hours. She's all over the place sometimes. Notice ALL day all of a sudden she's drinking 1.5 oz. I know some of the times are rather close together but from 11:45 to 2:45 - that's 3 hours. Notice at times, I can't even get her to hold OFF 2 hours.

My cousin's baby started doing that and a few weeks later he was diagnosed with milk protein intolerance. Pood green, no vomiting, unsettled and had very bad wind. All day, not a specific time of day.

Your baby is but 2 weeks old, and generally I would say too young for a 3-4 hour gap between feeding. sure, some can go that long, but I would play it by ear with your baby and not aim towards it, if she isn't ready for it. Make sense?

Between 8:15am and 11am, she was VERY fussy. She was upset while eating and after eating and it was hard to calm her down. She would calm down with holding her or she'd eventually drift off the sleep for 5/10 minutes here and there only to wake up acting fussy.

I do wonder whether the milk isn't agreeing with her. Esp as you say the poo is green and runny. Perhaps lactose intolerant? Perhaps milk protein intolerant?

Hope I don't sound like a broken record. :)

so hard to tell just yet.

She just ate again at 5:55pm and drank 3oz with breaks in between and some burps. She gets kind of mad when I'm burping her though. She fell asleep afterwards "well was closing her eyes through out the feeding" and has been sleeping since. It's 6:35pm now. So it's not always a bad episode.

My dr told me to try to hold out 2 hours before feeding. I can't hold out longer than an hour and half at times. Is that normal for a 2 week old you think? Amounts vary 1/2 oz to close to 2oz usually.

Example tonight so far:
1055
1am
235
345
520
