Hi.. I'm new to this but we are having the same problem my son (7.5 months) wakes at 5am every morning.  sometimes he won't go back to sleep other times he does but then wakes up 1/2 hour later and we repeat the process in desperation for a bit more sleep.  The only thing that seems to help in getting him back to sleep is his dummy.  But as soon as that falls out of his mouth he's awake. He goes to bed around 7:15pm and has 3 naps a day (mainly 45 mins long).  Any suggestions?!

Hi Leena and welcome,
Can you post his routine for me?
It sounds as if maybe your lo is overtired which could be causing the early wakes.  Have you tried to extend naps?  At his age he sould be getting 2, 1.5 hour naps.
It also sounds as if the paci might be a problem. Do you have to replace it during naps and nighttime sleep?  Do you think it is a prop?
