When I lived with my parents or were visiting them on Christmas eve we would always have Tourtiere pie (torture pie according to my dad) (french canadian meat pie), even after I turned vegetarian I would make a mock tourtiere pie with veggie ground round (defiently not as good). I think it was more for my dad and me since my mom doesn't really love it but will always have a little piece.
