hang in there! unfortunately, sleep training is just that, training.. and the longer that you do it, the more results you'll see. i started the BW techniques with my daughter at 6 weeks and i thought that it was never going to work, but it did. you just have to be vigilant.
my only advice is that sometimes, by the time you see a sleep cue, it's too late. observe your baby over the next few days and see when she starts to yawn or rub her eyes (or her eyes get red even.) keep a log of how long she was awake before you saw them and then the next day, go by the clock. if she starts yawning an 1hr15min after waking, start the wind down process 15 minutes prior. make the wind down process a ritual that you do every time! make sure your husband does the same thing as well
don't let him go off on his own.
you'll see some progress but it may take a few weeks, and i totally understand that "a few weeks" feels like forever! when you're sleep deprived, you feel like you're gonna die. but i promise that it will get better.
