Hi and Welcome to the boards.
It's probably a good idea to separate your post and discuss your 2 year old and your 9 month old separately. So on this board (as it's the toddler board) can you describe your 2 year old's day - napping schedule, bedtime and when the nightwakings tend to happen. How long does she stay awake? What do you usually do when she wakes?

Then pop over to the baby boards - perhaps 'nightwakings'
https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?board=33.0
And describe your 9 month old's routine - sleep times and eating times.

Then I'm sure we'll be able to help you with a bit more information. :)

Hi, thanks, yea i just tryin to work out how to use this site. My 2 year old goes to bed between 7pm & 8pm, she is no problem goin off to sleep but then come 2am time she is awake again, when i was pregnant with my 2nd child we did go thu a stage where we left her cry but we did it for a few weeks but she was having none of it. we have been really naughty at the moment & have been putting her in our bed which i know we have to stop.
Her day time rotine is,

With waking in the night she normally awake b 5am or 6am
has bottle then sumtimes naps on sofa for 30mins
8am breakfast
12.30 lunch
then she plays between
has afternoon nap at 2pm for bout hour
then awake till
tea at 5.30pm
bath 6.30ish, dependin how tired she is
then bottle between 7 & 8 then
bed but dependin how tired she is.
shes in bed by 8pm every night.
   Hope that makes sense

Hey there  :)

I think she is quiet overtired & I would suggest you bump her nap up to about 12pm (especially that she is waking up so early). So something like this:

wakes 5-6am
12-1.30/2pm - afternoon nap (you might find she will sleep longer than 1hr because she won't be so overtired by nap time)
6.30/7pm - bedtime

I would offer bedtime sooner than 7pm as well so that she can catch up on some sleep. When she wakes at night, I would either do wi/wo or you coudl try the gradual withdrawal method. Here's the link to sleep training methods for toddlers https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=63896.0

So rather than take her back to your bed... try to settle her in her cot instead. I really do believe that the night wakings will go away if she is better rested (earlier nap & bedtime) & when you are consistent in how you respond to her at night

hth & let me know if you have any further q's

Thank you for your reply on my oldest child, i have to be good & start to stick to what i am going to do with them both, even if i am tired next day, hehe. I will try that way tonight then keep her in her own room aswell. Put her foe a early sleep today aswell. It hard sometimes with it all as i might be out for the day so then it doesnt go to plan. IT just getting it all right. Thanks again
