3 month old....NO ROUTINE HELP!!
« on: October 15, 2007, 08:56:09 am »
Im fairly new to the Baby Whisperer and have only discovered it just now with my 3 month old and Im not sure how to implement everything. My baby used to sleep 8 hours at nightime but all of the sudden he is waking in the night and taking naps better (they used to be horrible!) Last night he woke up almost every hour! Im SHATTERED and need some functioning routine! He was born well over 10 pounds and now at 3 months is 18 pounds+ I dont know if he is getting ready 4 some cereal or what!? Ive been only breastfeeding him so Im not sure about that. He is drooling heaps and gnawing on his hands maybe he is teething! UGH! I really really really want to have him on some sort of schedule so that I can leave him with others and know exactly when he needs to feed, sleep etc. Its killing me! :'(

It's very hard if they don't sleep and mommy is sleep deprived.  you shouldn't put him on solids this early as it may just worsen the situation.  Your lo's digestive system is not ready for that at all.  As majas-mom suggested you need to post your routine.  At 3m your baby should be on a three hour EASY routine.  He might need more food to get through the night.  What do you do if he wakes up during the night?? :)
