Here are some pics I took last night.  He sleeps with the light on.  I think one of the reasons he had started sleeping with me was because he was scared of the dark.  A while back before we got his new bed, he slept in his room and I turned the light off once he fell asleep.  He woke up in the middle of the night crying, so I leave it on all night now.

His room is painted by my DH in an underwater theme.  We recently (Well Zach did) added glow in the dark stars to his wall.

A nightlight or you can get one of those light dimmers... we have that for Isabella. She's also scared to fall asleep in the dark but for some reason once she's asleep, she will stay asleep even when I switch it off. Anyway, the one we have the light can either dim over 30mins or so, or it can go straight away to the dimmer setting or you can have it on full light. I use the 30min one  :). It only cost me AU$3

He does look so small in that bed.. I did not even pay attention to that. LOL

We are going to get a dimmer for his light.  He has a ceiling fan with 4 light bulbs for the light.  I took out 2 of the bulbs, so it is not that bright.

We did have a night light in there.  He was fine sleeping in the dark up until 3 months ago.  He has devolped a lot of fears lately though.

I think sometimes he can "see" people.  Just some of the things he says and how he gets freaked out. He also gets really upset if he thinks something is going to get hurt.  Anyhow that is another story...

No rail, just pillows.  I put pillows on the floor also, just in case.  He seems to do fine.  He does not move at all in hisnew bed.  He slept from 11:00 last night to 11:00 this morning.  Yeah I know late bedtime, but he just stays up with me, makes things easier.
