Help with choosing sleep plan.
« on: January 25, 2008, 08:46:08 am »
I posted here before about my 15 month old son, Ethan and his sleeping problems.   I had a lot of good advice  :) but I was so tired and couldn't take it all in, and then got all confused at the different choices!
We've done some 'emergancy measures' to get us to have a little sleep, so we can have the energy to tackle this huge problem.   He was in a good routine, sleeping 7pm-4am, then 4.15-7/8am until christmas, when we went away and on our return, he refused to sleep, and we were only getting around 2 hours broken sleep a night  :-\
The past few nights, we've taken him into our bed so we can all get some sleep, recharge our batteries, and start a new PLAN to get him to sleep!
I bought the BW book for toddlers, and have realised he's a spirited toddler.  :)   Is there a sleep plan that is better for spirited babies/toddlers?
He's going through seperation anxiety at the moment also, which doesn't help.
I don't know if we should try pu/pd or wi/wo?

For my spirited LO, wi/wo worked great but we could never do pu/pd.
