Ds goes through phases of this but he's a bit older (2).

Sometimes a cuddle can be all that's needed to help settle, if she is frightened she may need that physical comfort - could she be overtired or has anything happened during the day that could be playing on her mind a bit (change of routine, even something innocent she could have glimpsed on the telly?).

If she's getting distressed to the point of making herself sick I think you'd probably have better lUck with gradual withdrawal rather than wi/wo to be honest. Then later when that's more established and she's not getting as distressed you may find you can return to wi/wo.

If she's waaay past her bedtime and is making her sick, I would pick her up, hold her until she's calm and stay by her bed until she's asleep.

Whats her routine like? How long has her fighting bedtime been going on?
