Short nap, then what?
« on: March 15, 2008, 19:08:42 pm »
My 7 week old will sometimes have a 45 minute nap. Should I go ahead and feed her or do some more activity time? Something low key? Should I try to stay on the 3 hour routine? After I've tried to extend her nap and she's obviously wide and awake and seems happy...I'm not sure what to do next.

If you cannot extend her nap with Shhh pat then I would do some very low key activity time and try again when she shows signs of tiredness.

Can you post your routine?  I'm with the pp - if you can't extend, do some low key A time til next feed, but then I'd have pretty much no A time before putting her down again.
