Hey ladies!
Just wanted to update. Vaden is doing better with drinking the gallons of milk at night. I ended up posting on the Toddler sleep board as well, and got some support there. I weaned the 1st night feeding by watering it down and bringing the feed earlier and earlier. The second night feeding sort of fixed itself. So glad that this is getting better! I still struggle with choices of things to feed her, but am trying new things as I think of them. Made salmon patties the other night, which is a first for me because I didn't eat them growing up as a child, and DH didn't either! But V seemed to enjoy them!
Now our problem seems to be she is cutting her first top tooth. So she is getting at least two doses of pain reliever at night, and when she wakes for the 2nd dose, she usually drinks a cup of water with a little bit (just an ounce or two) of milk mixed with it. She typically refuses the straight water, but add just that small amount of milk and she is ok. Now I've got some early wakings too, but I can deal with those better than the multiple NW's.
So just wanted to update and again, thank everybody for your ideas!!!
She is also eating much better during the day again.
