WHEN TO START DAIRY?
« on: April 08, 2008, 02:06:00 am »
My DS is almost 9 mo & I gave him cottage cheese the other day & he was quite unhappy for two days, is it different for everyone or is there a general time to start?

TIA

I think the guidelines are very different in every country! In the Uk dairy is ok from 6 months unless there are any issues. So my LO had cows milk in cereal and in sauces and yoghurts/cheese from 6/7 months. He did fine with it but if you think the cottage cheese caused problems I would check with your Dr before you add  any more.
