Bedtime for Mouse means 1-3 stories in her room, turn on her "nigh night" cd. Then I can tell her that I need to go feed the kitties, check on daddy, or whatever and that I will be back to check on her. No problem. She will snuggle Dawggy, "read" or whatever she does. I go back a bit later and she is asleep.
When Dave tries the same thing, there is much wailing when she hears he is leaving. Usually ends with them snuggling on the couch and she falls asleep there. Since I am home at bedtime the majority of the time, it's no big deal for me to put her to bed, but I do work some evenings. We have no problems with the snuggle to sleep ocassionally, I'm just curious if anyone has any theories as to why such a difference.
