My girl went through a stage of not feeding much for breakfast either when she was younger, can't remember exact age though. From memory I ended up getting her out of bed and just waiting for her to ask for the feed instead of automatically feeding straight away. You might find this may help your LO to take a full feed.

As for dropping the dream feed, I stopped at 6 mths. She was still taking a good feed, but my Plunket nurse told me that at this age she was more than capable of going through the night without it. So the next night I didn't feed her, and that was the end of the dream feed.

Oh, just another thought on that morning breast feed. I see you're doing a mixture of breast and formula. A friend of mine did that too, and found her son soon became disinterested in the breast. Maybe that's it? Perhaps try formula for breakfast one morning and see how much she takes.

If you think that your lo is losing interest in her morning feed due to the DF you can most certainly try to wean.

Have you seen the post under our FAQ's section - Cluster & Dreamfeeding FAQ's - Starting, How to do it, stopping and problems.

I agree with PP, so lo's do not like to eat as soon as they wake up so it might be worth leaving her for 1/2 an hour and see if that makes any difference.

It might be worth trying to wean the DF then.
