I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for helping me.  I was so stuck on the should drink before sleep idea I couldn't see any alternatives - you all helped me to see that milk isn't so bad and he is now having all his milk from the soft spout  ;D ;D  So thanks to you all I'm just one step away from being bottle free.

I'm so happy and that is thanks to you all.  :-* :-*

That's brill. You still doing the before bedtime bottle? I am tempted to get rid of but it's the only one he takes so might hold out a bit longer , well actually will as he is not eating dinner.

That's fantastic Emma. We are always here to help people that we can help and give our support to everyone. I have alwso got my Ds'2 on to a soft sported cup of mil but he will only take the cup with food but he has a cup of ebm at lunch before he has his nap. I can not what to see his reaction when he has his first taste of cows milk on his first birthday as a drink.

Fiona - No bedtime is the soft spout too - he doesn't seem to mind - I'm gonna give it a week or so and try the straw cup with milk in  it again.

Fifibobandmore - thansk great well done to you too - I think I might mix formula with cows milk as he hates it on cereal - he is such a poor eater I'm quite scared about him doing just cows milk - although maybe it might make him eat more!
