Quick Q about Schedule
« on: August 05, 2008, 14:16:04 pm »
Hi Guys

Today my routine has gone like this
7.50am E&A
9.00am Sleep
10.00am Wake E&A
11.45 Sleep
12.45 Wake A
1.45 Sleep
2.45 Wake E&A (this is so far today but based on this the rest of the day will be something like)

4.15pm Sleep
5pm Wake
6.45pm Bed?????? (or should I do cat nap here?don't want him waking in night babbling cause of lack of A time during the day!)

This is how it has gone so far today - He ate on waking and then ate every 3 and a half hours after that - Never been able to get him to go to four hours.
Anyway I was wondering if he is awake now and due to sleep in about and hours time - this will bring him up to 5pm including sleep - can I call this my cat nap and have him in bed for the night at about 7pm or does he have to be awake until 7.45pm cause he was awake at 7.45am
Thanks
Amy

Early to bed is always your best friend, especially if naps have been less than stellar during the day.

He is almost 5mths....he should be nearing 2hrs A time.....
do you think he is capable of staying up a bit longer???

If you think he might be able to, increasing his A time should result in longer naps.

In general though, yes, i think you have a good handle on things.  Don't worry about him feeding every 3.5 hrs, is he breastfed??    That's normal......

Hope the rest of day isn't too bad
