Hi - hope this isn't tmi  :-[
My 9mo son has been on solids for 3 months old and I have a quick question about digestion. A lot of what he eats seems to come out the other end in the same form as it went in (we mostly eat finger foods at the moment). We get lots of seeds (from the wholemeal bread), bits of carrot and pepper, fully formed raisins, the little black dots from the top of broccoli and after giving him baby corn yesterday, these have come out perfectly formed today (and very pretty too!). Is this normal?

yup normal still does at times depends on how much LO is in the mood to chew

Sorry, just had to add my giggles in here.  My DS is still not on solids but it just made me laugh at what is to come soon  - I think the part where you said "fully formed raisins" -- does it not make you wonder how he swallowed it in the first place!? I mean, I know I couldn't just swallow a raisin whole, could you?!

Ohhhh how they make us laugh!
