some help please

We have been getting the routine side sorted but its left me with two questions about sleep

I still am having a problem if I miss the window of then having this mega meltdown Shh/Pat doesnt work at all on her, I think this is cause she is a refluxer so constantly patting her back would be bringing acid up so instead of settling her its going to make her uncomfortable

She is also EW at 5:30 but untill today we have not been able to get a bedtime routine in place due to OT and trouble getting her to sleep before hand

So I just need some advice on what to do for her meltdowns currently we are rocking her in her moses basket (so that she is used to sleeping in her moses basket) but obviously don't want to get stuck in the trap of having to always doing it

And also what should i be doing with EW I don't know weither to start the day or try to resettle or what?

She had her bedtime routine at 7 lastnight but still woke at 5:30, she had been fed at 3:30 so wasnt hungry

just a thought...Somtimes I try back rubbing instead of patting, 'auuuu...ing' instead of shihing.  My son seems to respond to both.
