Waking early from nap EASY question
« on: January 27, 2009, 16:50:15 pm »
On some occasions 9 week old DD wakes after 45 minutes and I can't get her back to sleep (usually because of not enough A time)...on those days, should I keep her busy until her scheduled feed, or should I just feed, and start over with my EASY? We are on a 3 hour EASY with a DF at 10.

if they wake early feed at the normal time or just before if your LO is hungry early  just do that time as A time.  or look t the whole thing ( eating and activity time) as awake time.  does that make sense?

It does make sense, and that's what we've been doing. I guess I'm really wondering if we are going less than 3 hours on any given day (most days now we do make it 3 hour EAY and it all works out) and are left with 1.5 hours until bedtime, after our cat nap and she wants to eat at 5:30 (7 pm bedtime) do I just treat that like a cluster feed at this age and feed again at 7 before I put her down?

personally, I would do a cluster at this young of an age.  but if your LO is not waking without it, it is really up to you if you want to do it or not.
