We don't use freezer bags - I just plan to make them in the pots, put them in the freezer and take one out each night to defrost for the next day. Tiny freezer here!

Hey Deb,
Pop a freezer bag over the end of your ICT and run a warm tap over the back, the cubes will slide out easily into the bag...all ready for freezing ;D

Have a great weekend guys, I'm heading off now!....camping tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-\

spanna - ahhh that explains it ;D (re. the Aussie ice cubes!) Have fun camping!

Deb - good advice! About the jojo vs Bump to 3 ones, that's actually one thing I liked about the Brother Max food portioners, actually - how you can easily pop the food out.

I really need to get my act together making my own purees... have been relying on shop-bought (bad mummy!)

Don't be so hard on yourself!!  But try the store bought food sometime for yourself and you will SEE why it is good to make your own.  Even with my fruit purees, my older son and husband fight over it to put on oatmeal etc!!!

I did try them (wouldn't have given him anything I wouldn't eat myself) - I thought they were rather tasty ;D

Heh! I guess it depends on what you buy?? Ethan is getting really lovely organic stuff like Plum Baby (http://www.plum-baby.co.uk/) which might actually taste better than me putting my non-existent chef's hat on :P (DH does all the cooking in our house... I have little confidence in this area :()

Ella's Kitchen Stuff is nice too! And easy to carry around. When we go away at teh end of feb, I'll take those instead of having to make her meals.

Sainsbury's sell it - Tesco might as well but I haven't checked :)

I can highly recommend Plum Baby too - very very nice indeed!
