My lo just turned 3mo yesterday. For awhile she was taking great naps 3 naps about 1.5-2 hours long each. Since she hit the 2 mo mark her naps cut down to 30-40 mins. and that's been going on for a month now. She also used to be a great night sleeper. Went down easily and slept all night long. Now it's a huge fight to get her to sleep at night (because she's OT I'm guessing?) and wakes in the middle of the night. I'd love any help/tips I can get. I feel like I've tried everything and nothing is helping extend her naps. I've tried putting her down earlier to avoid OT, but she still only slept 30-35 mins. I've tried shh/pat and I feel like it wakes her up even more. I've tried wake to sleep with no success. Here's her schedule if it helps:
7:45am- wakes, coos in her crib
8am- feed
9:00- wind down (diaper change, lullabies, rocking)
9:15- in the crib and takes about 5-10 mins. for her to fall asleep
9:25-10:00- asleep
10:00- wakes; try to get her back to sleep but doesn't work; usually put her in her swing or some other low-key activity
11:00- feed
12:00- wind down
12:15- in the crib for nap, again about 10 mins. to get to sleep
this continues for the day until...
7:00- bedtime routine (bath, lotion and massage, pj's, bottle)
8:00- in bed
4:00 am- wakes to eat, then right back down til around 8am
Any help or suggestions would be wonderful!!!
