It wasn't good at all. She woke up at nine and it took me over two hours to settle her. She kept waking up through out the night as well. I had to put her in the swing otherwise she wouldn't have slept at all. She was so frustrated and tired but couldn't settle :-[. She woke up earlier this morning too. I will try to take naps with her. I don't want to jump back into AP but I don't know what else to do and this baby needs sleep.  ???

ok here is the plan  ;D

I'm going to let her nap in my bed today and depending on her nap either in her crib or the swing tonight. I will let you know how things go.  :)

Jay, she doesn't want to sleep. I rocked her, nursed her, have her in the swing now. I'm trying to get her to sleep for 1:20 min already. Nothing. She fell asleep when I pat/shh in her crib but woke up 7 minutes later and since then nothing. She's in the swing now happily singing and kicking her legs and her eyes are sooo red. She must be so tired and I'm out of ideas. What used to work doesn't work anymore since we started BW.  ???

Hanneli,
Just wanted to offer some HUGS!
We've been through some serious OT bouts and with my lo's and with them, there is no getting back on track until they have caught up on sleep- at least a little bit!
I HATE extending naps and maybe if that's not working for your lo, you could keep working at extending one nap and trying something else to extend the other - just until she's caught up on sleep.  Maybe snoozing in the car or stroller?
I would definitely keep the catnap until she's caught up and then work on cutting it.  My guess is that she's ready to drop it, but right now it sounds like she needs all the sleep she can get!  But for your sanity, make it a swing/stroller/car/whatever else works nap :)

I've tried to put her down and was pat/shh for 50 minutes. My arm is about to fall off  ::) She's yawning and fussy but can't fall asleep so she's frustrated. She doesn't fall asleep under 2 hours of A time or more.

I wish she would sleep in the car or the stroller but it's not helping neither.

She fell asleep for 30 min in her car seat after being awake for over 4 hours.

I'm suspecting she's going through a growth spurt. She constantly was to eat.

I thought it would be easier for her to go down after the short nap she had but it's the opposite. I'm exhausted and wish my husband could be here and I didn't have to do this on my own.

Oh I'm sorry for a sleepless night Jay. How is he usually doing?

Our night was good. She woke up only twice and ate both times. I let her spend the night in the swing. We both got rest and today is a new day with a new start. She started showing sleeping cues very early after getting up, and I put her down as soon as I saw them. I must have been missing them the past few days.

There is no way I can get her to nap under 3 hours. Sometimes I'm able to extend her naps but he totally refuses the last one so it's only two. We have multiple NW and now she wakes up at 5 am again.

I'm giving up because I don't have the strength anymore to deal with this on my own. Thank you for the support to everyone that has replied.  :'(
