Hi!! I agree with Nicole!! 25 min may be too long! What I do is this....I put my lo in the cot, if he fusses and cries, I shpat him until he is calm. When he is calm, I leave the room. If he fusses, I leave him alone, when he starts crying, I go inside and shpat him when he is calm I leave again. If he is fussing on and off, then I don't go inside his room, I give him 15 min to fall asleep. If after 15 min he is still fussing on and off, but not crying, then I go inside and help him fall asleep by shpat. When he does this, I assume he is OT and that's why he is finding it so hard to fall asleep, so he needs my help.
So set a limit time for you to give your lo to fall asleep. If you know he is OT, then help him go to sleep by shpatting him. Does this make sense?
also, remember to reduce the next A time after a short nap.
