I have been using Similac sensitive but realized the store brand (Target) is half the price and says "compared to Similac Sensitive".  anyone else use store brand?

I have been "mixing" Kroger's generic brand of Soy formula with DD's Similac Isomil and so far so good.

If you decide to try it, Maybe mix it at first to get DD used to it?

HTH!

For what it's worth, my sister in law is a pediatric nurse.  She and one of her colleagues researched all the store brand formulas and found that Target brand was the closest to Enfamil/Similac and it's what she feeds her nephew.

My pediatrician told me that the store brand is just as good as the name brand.  The percentages might be a little off, but it's not enough to make a difference.  I fed my first baby store brand from 8-12 months.  Woudl have done it sooner but they didn't have a store brand Gentlease like they do now.  DS2 is breastfed but if he ever goes to formula we will be using Target brand.

Save $ however you can!  ;D
