I have no experience in this as DS is not even 10 mo.  But... I'm learning to work out A times and naps.  What about putting him down at 12:40 or 12:45, hoping that he will have a slightly shorter nap or you wake him up 15 or 30 mins earlier from his nap?  Please feel free to ignore me.

Good luck!

Koe2moe - Wouldn't ignore - that'd be rude!  DS is very spirited and we have very varied naps!  I've been trying for ages to get this longer nap and then when he did it - it messed everything else up!!

I'm loving your LOs hat btw!

I think in theory thought that's quite a good idea if I persistently get this problem - he's always been a rubbish napper anyway!

How are you doing?

We're ok.. got finally 2 good naps yesterday!!  But I ruined it coz my stupid head wasn't paying attention to the clock!!!  got 25mins first nap... the worst thing!!!!!!!!

I am keeping my head up, though.  stay positive!!  we can battle through this and conquer it, RIGHT?

thanks about the photo :D  DS still loves playing with it ahha

I did fixed nap times from about 8mths and this worked an absolute treat at getting longer naps - after a little while though.  DS would have a nap around 10 and then around 1.30 / 2.  This worked well until he decided one nap was the way to go :( !!  He literally has a mind of his own!  On Sat we had a new carpet fitted, I gave him early nap as the carpet fitter was coming early, DS was woken then 40mins later by hammering and refused to have ANY more sleep for the rest of the day even though my mum had driven quite a way to see my grandad with him - he still didn't sleep!  He's as stubborn as his mother!!

I can usually time DS to the minute for his naps - used to be 45mins dead on!
