Waking every morning at 2.30am- 3.5 month old
« on: November 06, 2009, 08:10:02 am »
Hello!

I am hoping you can help me with this. My son is 15 weeks old and for the past 3 weeks has been wakening at 2.30am on the button every morning. I just give him his paci and tuck him in and he goes back to sleep. He will then wake again about 3ish and the same happens. He then wakes between 4 and 5 for a feed and sleeps til 7.30am.

Do you think he is hungry at 2.30am? I was trying not to feed him then!

He goes to bed at 6.45pm and DF at 10.30pm

Thanks xx

TBH, at 3.5 months I would just quickly feed and get him back to sleep when he wakes at 2.30. At that point it's been 4 hours since his last feed, and if you feed at 2.30 he may go back to sleep til morning! If the paci was settling him for a good while, I would say it was a habitual waking but because he wakes up again very soon after it does sound like hunger.
