Easy question?
« on: December 08, 2009, 22:30:13 pm »
If my LO seems exhausted, but can't sleep - is he definitely OT?  Trying to figure out why LO never takes the catnap, though he's clearly tired - will fall asleep the minute I pick him up, but the minute I put him in the crib - screaming.

Thanks.
Melinda

it depends really but most of the time if baby usually sleeps without props and isnt in pain etc then yes its OT, they are so OT they just cant settle even if they are clearly exhausted

OK, that's what I thought - thanks.  He does sleep without props and I don't think he's in pain.  Just at the catnap I see this same pattern.  Will try to reduce A time before catnap tomorrow and see if it's easier...

Thanks, Jo!
