walk in/walk out?
« on: February 12, 2010, 01:59:26 am »
I have looked around but I can't find any info on this method.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I have a 1 year old who I need to be able to take naps on her own in her crib.  She does this fine for bedtime but I usually sit in there with her.  I also have a 3 year old and I can't sit in the baby's room for hours while she is alone so I need to be able to come and go.  I currently nurse or rock her until she is sleeping and place her in the crib.  Like I said, she is capable of putting herself to sleep I have seen her do it many times.  She sleeps through the night too.

If anyone has other suggestions I would love to hear them.

Thanks for any help!!!

here ya go hun http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=80750.0

we use WI/WO by using patting to calm him in his cot, then once he is calm (not asleep though) we walk out, if he cries for us then we go back in and repeat. first time it took 45mins, after that it takes 5-10mins or it wont work because of some other reason (pain, UT etc etc)
