Hi there,
Eleanor has just turned one. She has always been a really good eater, eating pretty much whatever I offered her and quite large amounts. However since yesterday she started refusing her meals. She completely refused her cereal, which she normally eats happily. She had a bit of banana but not very much. At lunch she did eat her pasta, no problem, had some more banana at 4pm but then refused her supper (salmon and sweet potato - normally likes this). Instead she nibbled on some cheese and potatoes we had baked in the oven but wouldn't touch her own food. This morning she refused her breakfast again; I just about got het to take a few spoons but nowehere near enough.
Could she be getting fed up of baby food and want more grown up stuff? On Sunday we had her birthday party and she did taste a bit of adult food including chicken nuggets and (cringe) chocolate biscuits! So far I've been really strict about healthy eating and I'm worried she's refusing because she tasted something better! What do you think?
