Here is the routine:
6.30 am get up
6.45/7.00 am breakfast and bottle
After breakfast she has a little play then we getting ready for nursery(I work full time)
9.00 am nursery
She will play and do activities during the morning
10.00 am snack time
Then more play and activities
When at nursery she doesn't always has a nap in the morning
11.45 am lunch
After lunch she may have a nap (it varies)
Play
Around 1.00/1.30 pm she gets picked up by my husband
2.00/2.30 pm bottle
When at home if she has had a nap at nursery she will have one at home. Some days she goes out for walk.
5.30 pm dinner
Play
6.45/7.00pm bath and getting ready for bed
During the night she wakes up at different time. She stand in her cot and cry. When I walk in her room I lay her down with my hand on her back(she likes that),after few minutes she at sleep, couple of nights she been laying in her cot she for 2 hours before she went back to sleep,I have to be there in the room near her otherwise she won't go back.Last night she woke up 3 times.
Thanks
Ant

On a stage how many hours does she sleep in the day?

From what I can see in your routine it looks like she is overtired.   At 14 months she would ideally have about a 12 hour night in addition to about 2 or more hours of daytime sleep.

Will the nursery pit her down for a nap at the same time each day ( say around 11.30) so she can sleep until 2 when your dh picks her up?

The other thing you might be able to do is get her to bed earlier - much closer to asleep by 6:30 so she has no more than a 12 hour day and a full 12 hour night.

How long has she been napping only once per day?  Does she still sometimes get two naps a day?  If so, do you notice a difference at night when that happens?

I was also thinking the nap thing may need tweaking. Will she take the midday nap if she doesn't nap in the mornings, or does she sometimes have no naps in a day? It might be time to keep her up thru the morning unless she's patently exhausted and begin moving to a single nap most days. Some kids need two naps for a long time, while others move to one nap early on; Josie went to a single nap around 11 months and while it made for long A times, when she DID nap she REALLY napped!

At nursery they told me she wont go down to sleep in the morning so what they do is after lunch she will have a sleep around 12.15pm,she will sleep around 1 hour to 1 hour an half. When she is at nursery she will have only 1 nap. When she's at home I try to follow my routine of 2 naps at day but is really hard to follow due to what the nursery does.2 nights ago she was up from 12.30 am til 4am,last night she was up every hour til 6am,I don.t really know what to do.Thanks for all your advise

I would try putting her to bed earlier if she's only getting the one nap. I'd also ask them if they're able to try to get her back to sleep if she wakes before 90 minutes of naptime so she's getting a more solid nap.

One more thought: might she be teething? Josie was getting eyeteeth/canines around 16-18 months, and they were SOOO hard for her. :( Some pain meds at bedtme and then again at the night waking helped us get thru those 3 months. And if you think teeth might be the problem, will the nursery give her some pain meds before naptime to help with teething pain so she could sleep thru it?

This morning she had half hour nap and this afternoon she had around couple hours nap(no to bad).Tonight I took her to bed at 7pm insted of 7.30 pm it took me half hour before she felt at sleep.3 weeks ago she started teething, she has 4 back teeth coming through at the same time so I was giving calpol before bed time but it didn't really work, tonight before she went to bed I gave her some nurofen(ibuprofen),I hope it will work.Yesterday I spoke to the nurses about her sleep, they told me that was too noise so she wouldn't sleep in the afternoon.Could you tell me what is the wi/wo method?
Thank you
Ant
