Baby waking and getting upset during df...............
« on: June 29, 2010, 01:38:45 am »
My baby is 2 weeks shy of 6 months. He sstn no problem.......... unless we df him. :( He then gets mad. We do our best not to wake him but he's near 19 lbs now........... He's VERY VERY VERY long and pretty big as well. He's the same size as my Sister's 11 month old baby.

Anyway, he sometimes wakes and gets upset. :( Currently we are only giving him 4 oz b/c he's not really eating any food in the am. We guessed filling up on the 7oz dream feed. So a month ago we reduced it to 4oz. We've done a few days here and there of not doing the df, b/c we are worried about waking him. So if he's eaten well we don't df. He still sttn without it.

Should we just drop it?

I would just drop it and see what happens, you will be dropping it soon any way. My two never really took to the DF, didn't like being disturbed and didn't drink a feed worth doing so we didn't bother and waited for them to wake by themselves if they needed to.
