Wondering what the average A for a 19/20month old is.  ATM Madi is doing 5.5hours in the morning and about 5hrs and 20min in the evening.

that sounds about right.

TBH after both my dds went to 1 nap i stopped keeping track of A times so much because i found if we were off by as much as 30 min it didn't really make too much of a difference.  so we had a set nap time and a set bedtime which worked for quite a while and then when we found dd1 was fighting bedtime a bit we would just move it a bit later and it was fine, we kept naptime the same.

Dylan is 20.5mo and he typically does:

wakeup between 630-730 (usually around 7)
nap 1230/1 usually 2h to a max of 2.5h (we will wake at that point)
bedtime 8, usually asleep by 815 or so

Dylan is a long napper and has a shorter night. I've tried cutting his nap but he doesn't compensate with a long night - I just have a cranky toddler ::)

Thanks ladies.

Vikki: LOL. I can't reduce Madi's nap below 2hours as she becomes very cranky and gets easily OT. If it was up to her she would nap for three hours.  :-X

Funny thing is, I still log Madi's A times and I think it is time to stop! :-[

you could just let her do the 3 hour nap and have a later bedtime/shorter night.  as she gets older and bedtime gets too late for you then start cutting the nap back.

yes, stop logging A times!!

LOL. I am addicted to logging EASY.

TBH I have not consistently tried a two hour nap as I am afraid of her getting more OT and causing an even early EW.  I normally let her sleep a max of 2.5 hours.  If she does sleep that long I know she can easily do 5.5 hours of A time.
