I could be wrong in saying this, but I don't think it is UT, because even if he takes a shorter nap, it still happens.  But honestly, I have no idea.  With it being summer, he is so busy and so tired during the day, that I am hesitant to cut any sleep.  He is also getting his molars and gets so cranky when he doesn't nap well during the day.  However, yesterday he had a crib party and didn't sleep at all for the 2 hours he was in it.  As you can imagine, he was in rare form at bedtime.  I don't know - we will see I guess.

{{HUGS}}

It may be worth having a read through Charli's (charlibob) thread.  It seems like your problems along with having a new bub are very similar.

What sort of routine is he "supposed" to be doing?

I was thinking the same thing when she posted.

He normally wakes 6/6:30, naps from 12:30/1-2:30/3 and then is asleep 8/8:30.

Have you tried an early bedtime?  Sorry if I am repeating something which has already been said - like 7.30pm

That is ok Laura.  Yes, we have tried an early bedtime.  He still screams and then when he stops, he falls asleep at his usual time.

Thay really are cheeky little monkeys aren't they?!

I do think then that it is just the unsettledness of having a new baby, I guess be consistent and firm and hope it sorts itself out :-\ lol!

I love this saying.  Yes, they are!!

Hopefully, he gets past this sooner, rather than later!
