interrupted naps for 4 month old
« on: July 16, 2010, 19:38:42 pm »
Hi everyone
My LO is 19 weeks now, and we are on a 4 hour EASY. However I find that since the last week, his 2 big naps have been 50 minute long or so. After which he wakes up every 10-15 minutes, I go in and use PU/PD to put his to sleep and he awakens 10 minutes later. What's going on? I have now started to reswaddle him, thinking maybe that had something to do with it. I even tried WTS, which is what got his getting up time from 45 minutes to 50 minutes. Help Please!!!

Hi there--to me, it actually sounds like he's ready for an A time increase, and those naps are undertired naps.  Have you tried adding about 10-15 minutes onto his A time to see if that helps at all?

Here's a link that might give you some ideas about what the EASY routine looks like past 2h A times:
