Hi there,
I am just looking for some advice re my little ones NW's. She is 9 months old and is crawling. For the past 2 weeks I would say she has been having some issues with NW and I think I may need to tweak her routine. When she wakes I will go to her if she is really crying and normally I will give her a drink of water - which I dont think is helping, but when you are half asleep you dont think straight!!! I would say she is having maybe 2 nw per night but has also started to wake an hour earlier (6 instead of 7, not sure if these are linked).....here is her routine.
7 - awake and bottle feed 6oz
7-8 play
8 - breakie - porridge with fruits normally
8:30 - 9:15 play and get ready for the day
9:15 - wind down and nap for 1.5hrs
so A time is only 2hr15 but she is definatley tired when I put her down and she goes straight to sleep. But I am thinking maybe I need to strech this time?
10:45 - awake snack
11:00 - play/run errands/go for walk etc
12:00 - lunch
12:30 - play/run errands/go out etc
1:45 - wind down and nap for 1.5hrs
so in the afternoon her A time is a little longer and she doesnt seem to get tired for about 3 hrs...
3:15 - awake, bottle 6 ozs & sometimes a little snack rice cake or some thing
3:30 - 5:30 play/run errands/go out etc
5:30 - dinner
6:30 - bath
7 - bottle
7:15 - bed
I am also wondering if I should tweak bedtime by 15 mins and put her down at 7.....
She goes down for sleep really well, the odd time she might fuss a little but its not normally for too long. We do BLW and she eats very well - more than most of her friends. She was low birth weight and still a tiny little lady so not sure if this would effect the amount of A time she should have, she has met all her milestones on time, although she doesnt have any teeth yet and I have thought she may be teething so have been giving her the teething salts......
I hope someone can help - if you need any more info please let me know
Thank you !!!
