disturbed naps due to rolling over...please help
« on: October 15, 2010, 00:27:04 am »
Hi, I am new to this forum but have been using EASY since my daughter was 2mos. She is now 5 months and has been really great at taking her 2hr naps in the morning and afternoon. Until this week she has starting waking up 30mins into her afternoon nap usually because she has rolled over, I try the shh/pat with her but she keeps waking up every 10mins and seems to want to roll over or coo and play, she then gets fussy falls asleep and wakes up about 10mins later. She has been so good with her naps until now, please help I don't know how to fix this problem. Thanks!!

When DD2 did this I rolled up 2 blankets and put them under the bed sheet either side of her to act like a barrier so she couldn't roll, not too close to her but close enough so she could go on her side if she wanted to but not all the way over. It definately helped with naps and night times here!

Kind off, she slept a bit longer but she figured that if she scooted upwards she could then roll over so I have to extend the blanket the entire lenght of her crib. She is such an active sleeper!!
