at what age did your toddler miss their one and only nap?

What age did your little one miss their nap for the first time. It looks like today will be our first non napping day due to a flight (typing as I sit on the flight ). He has never napped well in a carseat and now that he's older its near impossible.

So how old were they and what did you do for bedtime?

Around the age of 2.  DD maybe a bit sooner and DS1 maybe a bit after.

DD is 19 months and has missed her nap a number of times. She seems to cope fine however much sleep she has so really we just put her to bed earlier and hope she sleeps through. She does get very grumpy at tea time, but I can't get her to catnap so early bed is the only way to go!

She refused her nap two days ago after a really good night's sleep so we had her in bed for 6.30 - about 45-60 mins earlier than normal. I try to keep the afternoon low key if she refuses to nap too.

Hope that helps!

Laura

I can't remember exactly the age, often near the age of 2...but even younger for some reason that I can't recall. She did fine with an early bedtime as a one off thing.

My LO just refused her one and only for the first time at almost exactly 18 months.  She was fine for the day but we have been in a sleep nightmare ever since (been about 10 days now).  I think the key is to hit the early bedtime if possible.  Good luck!

My son is 22months and we squeeked in a 20 min nap and he went to bed 45min early.

Send vibes that he wakes at a decent hour. We are on a semi vacation at my parents and sleep issues would be a total bummer......
