Sorry to hear that!

What does his routine look like?

Any idea what's causing the NW's?

Ok this is not a success story lol  But it's more a commiseration.

Finn was up at 12:30 last night.  And we never really get NW.  Maybe once or twice in a 2 week period (hmm actually sounds like a lot at nearly 2).  But yeah, I don't know why NW and EW never go away.  Some kids are just not great sleepers.  It's a skill like any other and they just aren't mature enough at it yet.  You can tweak all you want and it mostly becomes a game of just staying ahead of the OT all the time.  Two steps forward and one back.

Guess we just have to be more patient?  Don't know how though...(((hugs))) Grants
The tweaking never stops!

Sorry no success story from me .......yet!  I'm always hopeful, nap cutting is *currently* helping, who knows what tomorrow will bring though.

(((((hugs)))))) hun. :-*

Sian, Ds has nws and tweaks don't seem to help at all. He has phases of sleeping through (like 2 days in a row ) then after these few days of peace it is all back again. Not to mention that he is a chronic early waker since birth. But I admit that the ews don't bother me if ds sttn. What kills me is the combination of the two :-(The only thing I can think of is teeth. If it is teeth there is not much I can do. Having medication doesn't help and not having medication doesn't make a difference either. So as Wendy says I think I must work on my patience. Wendy, I almost envy you lol 2 nws in a space of 2 weeks sounds like heaven to me. DS is having nws every single night for the last 3 weeks :-( .Laura, I'm sorry to hear O is still having nws. He sounds like M as tweaks don't seem to work for him either :-(

They don't. Ever!

I have a 5.5 year old who still wakes about once a fortnight due to bad dreams, tummy ache, whatever. But the good thing is I can pop him in our bed and go and sleep in his bed, not possible when your lo is in a cot!

As my mother says, once children arrive, you never sleep the same again.
