Sorry for lack of update past week, we've been an ill household so tackling Ew's and df all on hold until better.

But in answer to question about a times she does about 3 hours now and generally naps for 3 hours a day in two 1 & 1/2 hours although when out times vary a little

Hi again, well we are all recovered for almost a week now but desperately need help with sleep as for same amount of time its been awful and worried DD has forgotten how to put self back to sleep. :-(

so first thing im back at work Monday and only with DD fri-sun so won't be able to affect most of day anymore. However think need to teach her to fall back to sleep as pattern for past week since getting better has been this:

6.30 bedtime falls asleep on own but sometimes needed dummy but spat out and stayed asleep
10-10.30 df 3-4oz - know need to cut out but will do once more settled at nursery
11.30 wakes put dummy in straight to sleep
1-1.30 wakes as above
4.30-5 wakes but not settled so have in desperation given milk, drains bottle and sleeps until 7am

Another thing is she keeps rolling onto tummy but wakes up answer crys. I found her asleep like that few days ago tried her over and woke her up by doing this but then up for hour and half. She's 8 months next week sinceso told she's ok to sleep like that now butas mentioned usually wakes up when rolls over and crys.

Last night was disaster as up from 11.30-1.30 then 4.30 and fed at 5.30 and went to 7. however left at nursery for first time without me for two hours and no morning nap but two hours with me in pm.
Sorry such long post am bit at wits end as dh has never settled her in night so whilst sharing know is me.

Should i ride out until nursery settled? dh suggested cc but i can't but can't survive on no sleep and work.

((HUGS))) I am sorry I missed your earlier post.

You mentioned those NWs, but what was the day like prior to those NWs.

She is healthy now right?  No illness or teething?  If she is healthy, I would start doing PU/PD when she wakes. http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=69177.0  The only problem is the paci use is confusing and won't work if you are doing PU/PD.  http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=67675.0

Developmental issues such as rolling, often throw a kink in sleep.  http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=65196.0 Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about her rolling.  She doesn't like staying on her tummy though?

What was your day like yesterday, prior to the NWs?
Kara

Sorry for delayed reply again, first day back at work on 3 hours sleep today not great fun and so hard leaving her.

Thanks for advice, meant to add she'd gone off food too and read another thread and your post and is def teething again. Dh is ill too so timing isn't great. However we did have mini break through and she slept on tummy sat eve for couple hours.

Will wait until she's ok again and then do pu/pd for 8 months plus. She only slept an hour today at nursery in two half hour naps but hoping that will improve. Meant she was in bed by 6pm but anything more than 3 hours will be good tonight.

Thanks so much again for support.

There is definitely a bump when they start nursery.  I am glad you are having better nights or at least patches.  Good luck with the PU/PD when that tooth pops through.
