I still have to wait for 2-3 more months before he eventually outgrew the short naps?!!! AARRRGGGhhhhh..........
Its really driving me crazy - because he can never stay up for more than 2 hrs of A time, its always 1 hr or slightly more... totally throw my EASY routine out the window. ..:(

I am still trying to figure out the HTTJ ... will try and see if it works for his first nap which is NOW... hahaha
better go in and check on him first will update later

Thanks all ! :)

Oh well... my attempt to HTTJ & pat shh didnt work for my LO - he only napped 45 mins ... he woke up at the 30 min mark, I HTTJ and he was asleep for another 15 mins (but I am not too sure if he is really asleep as there were eye movements and fingers were still moving)

My LO is really cheeky, he pretends to sleep when I was HTTJ and when I tried to Pat/Shh him.... his eyes were close - and when I released some pressure from his chest and hips, he started moving his hands and also I could see eye movements even though his eyes were closed. I dont know do I count this as sleeping ??

I guessed my LO will only ever nap 45 mins max in the morning as I have tried to extend his morning naps for ages and it never seemed to work. He will just pop open his eyes and smile at me - well at least he is not cranky so I know he has had enough of a nap.

Have anyone of you tried scheduling a consistent napping time? I know this is against BW, but I am thinking of trying to put him to naps at specific times in the day and leave him in his cot if he is awake until its time to get up. Nowadays my LO naps about 5 to 6 short naps a day and its all over the shop.

For example - 1pm nap and assuming I want him to nap until 3 - if he wakes up at 145, I will leave him in his cot until 3 (hopefully he will fall asleep again). However if he cries, I will take him out for some A time. Not sure if this will work.
