Poo at start of nap? WWYD?
« on: April 18, 2011, 17:07:59 pm »
I went in DS room room after he fell asleep for his nap and he definitely pooped! He usually takes 2h naps. I'm not sure if I should wake him and change him (ugh) of leave him. I'm worried about diaper rash. What would you do? ???

I have been in your shoes loads of times in the past now it's mostly 30 mins after Bt and of course I have to change her bum. I havn't been able to leave LO in a poopy diaper as she has very sensitive skin so what I do is bring in diaper/washed out warm wipes and bum cream. I change the bum In the bed I just lean right in there ( mind you , lo bed isn't to deep and I'm almost 6 feet tall with longer then normal arms). If you cannot then pick him up and lay a soft blanket on the floor and change bum there as fast as you can, then do a rock/snuggle and lay back down and remember No TALKING lol

Thanks! If DH were home I think we would do just that, but I just had hand surgery so there's no way I could change him in the crib, or anywhere smoothly for that matter. And it seems like he's waking up now after only 1h20 so maybe it made him uncomfortable. Hope we don't get a rash!
