How do I know???
« on: May 17, 2011, 21:14:08 pm »
... Why my 13wk old is waking at night???

He wakes at random times but mainly only once a night, I go in in the dark, pick him up, feed him and he takes up to 8oz and pop him back down where he will whimper and put himself back to sleep.

I think he is starting to teeth now so how do I know the difference? I don't want him to learn that when he cries I go and feed him!

I think 1 nf at 13 weeks is very very good going, I would think that if it was pain from teething then a feed wouldnt settle him anyway, yk? So chances are he does need that one feed.

agree - if he's sucking down 8ounces, he's HUNGRY! I'm gonna go with 3-month growth spurt here. :) Adjust daytime calories as possible, and hopefully things will settle down in a few days.

He has always woken once, last week it was up to 4 time... Think that was his gs! This one feed per night just feels like it is never going to end!!!!
