forgotten password???

I am trying to change my username but cannot remember my password. Is there any way I can find out what it is?

Not unless you use Firefox as your browser.  The only real option is to change your password beforehand, it's good practice to change passwords regularly anyhow

so what do I do now if I need t change it - surely it will ask for my old one?

You could log out, then use the forgotten password option, or I change your username for you and the system will automatically reset and send your password. A final option would be for me to change your password and email it to you, and you can make all further changes yourself

Whichever option you choose, I recommend that you ensure your email is correct in your profile .

I can see that you've succeeded in changing your username  Please ensure you change your password again - if you haven't already.  You might want to fill in the secret question area in case you forget your password again
