Waking at night to feed but will not go back to sleep
« on: June 04, 2011, 14:32:57 pm »
LO is 15 weeks today.  Up until last night and the night before, he was faithfully waking every 3 hours to feed and then would go right back to sleep.  The last two nights, he woke to eat, and then would not go back to sleep.  He cooed/cried all night long.  I think his gums may be bothering him and teething may be starting bc his fist is constantly in his mouth and he is drooling a lot.

He always sleeps swaddled.  I tried letting his arms free so he could suck on them and maybe find comfort through that, but that seemed to make him even more wired.  Basically the last 2 nights were me feeding him nonstop in an attempt to get him to fall asleep, to no avail.  Do you think maybe it is because of the teething?  I remember reading somewhere that around 4 months things can go a little haywire all over again.  Maybe it's that?  Or...do you think I need to go to a 3.5 hr EASY?  He's currently on a 3 hour EASY.  I felt like our EASY was going so well..now I feel like it has fallen apart again.  Plus, DH is LITTLE help and not being very supportive, so I'm just feeling deflated...and tired!

(((HUGS))) 4 months is definitely tricky time.  Can you post your easy in EAS format?
