Traveling with breastmilk

Anyone have any tricks on how to warm breast milk on an outing?  Can you safely warm breast milk and keep it in a thermos.....if so how long?  Thanks for any ideas!

Not sure where in the world you are, but they do sell different devices for warming bottles on the go.  One that I tried was like a round hot pack you activate and put the bottle in.  TBH we didn't think it worked all that well.  My mom ended up just getting a big cup half full of boiling water from Starbucks and sticking the bottle in there!  Worked quickly and was almost free!    There are also warmers that plug into the car that work better if that's an option for you.

And remember one of the miracles of BM - freshly "squeezed" (freshly expressed, lol ) can be left at room temp up to 10 hrs!! So you could just pump and take it with you.  As long as it's not too hot, you should be fine! Then it's already room temp so you shouldn't even have to warm it!

That's the same warmer we had, Rebecca, and we didn't like it!  Goes to show you never know.
